History

Quasar 618 was added to the game upon World 2's release. The chance for this ore to spawn in Galactic Caves was added on October 7, 2023.

• Quasar 618 and its legacy variant are named after TON 618, a massive and distant quasar believed to host one of the largest supermassive black holes observed.
